I feel lost
Feeling lost can mean not knowing where you are going, or not knowing who you are any more. Jesus said he came for exactly this: to seek and to save what was lost. In the Gospels he goes looking — up a tree in Jericho, along a road out of Jerusalem, into a conversation at night.
For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.

Pray
Lord Jesus, you came to seek and to save what was lost. I do not know the way right now. Find me where I am, call me by name as you called Zacchaeus, and walk with me, even before I recognise you. Amen.
Written for Lumen as a simple personal prayer — not a liturgical text.
One thing to do today
Take a short walk without your phone and ask Jesus one question: where are you in this? You do not need an answer today. Like the disciples on the road to Emmaus, start by walking with him.
- Lost from what — a direction, a person, yourself, God?
- Who has come looking for you before?
